Luna Base Software built Digicam as a commercial app. This service is provided by Luna Base Software and is intended for use as is.

This page explains our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information.

Information Collection and Use

We do not receive your photos or saved recipes. Digicam has no app account, analytics or advertising. Recipe syncing uses Apple’s iCloud service.

Camera, Microphone and Photos

Digicam asks for camera access to show the live viewfinder and capture photos, microphone access to record sound with videos, and Photo Library access to save your captures and show them in the in-app gallery.

This data is processed on your device. Photos and videos are written directly to your Photo Library and remain under your control; the app never uploads them. If you enable iCloud Photos, Apple may sync your Photo Library according to your Apple settings.

You can change these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app. Revoking them limits the corresponding features but does not affect anything already saved to your Photo Library.

Settings and iCloud Recipe Sync

Sound and flash settings stay on your device. Saved film recipes also sync through your Apple Account’s iCloud when available and can return after reinstalling Digicam.

Recipe syncing uses Apple’s iCloud service and is subject to your Apple Account settings and Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your saved recipes on our own servers.

Local app settings are removed when you delete the app. Deleting the app does not necessarily remove recipes already stored in iCloud or photos and videos saved to your Photo Library.

Log Data

Digicam does not collect log data. If the app crashes, Apple may share anonymised crash reports with us in line with your iOS analytics settings, which you control in the iOS Settings app.

Children’s Privacy

Digicam does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. The app has no account registration, analytics or advertising.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app.
